Before You Book

Got Questions? We've Got Answers

Everything about booking hot, melty cheesesteak service for your event, straight from our team.

Booking

How do I book you?

Booking with us is easy β€” everything's handled online! That said, we're always happy to hop on the phone to answer any questions you have about our service. Just know that quotes are provided through email only, so we're not able to give pricing over the phone. We'd love to help make your event mile-high delicious!

How do I check if my date is available?

Just submit a form on our website! We've got multiple ready to roll, so don't be afraid to reach out β€” we'd love to help with your event.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

All cancellation and reschedule policies can be found in our booking terms linked in the footer of our website. You'll also get a copy with your catering agreement when you book.

Can the serving time change after I book?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no! Once we lock in your booking, we make commitments to other events based on that original time. So if a change on your end would conflict with a commitment we've already made to another party, we won't be able to make the switch. We'd love to help with your event and will always do what we can to work with you!

How far in advance should I book?

For the best availability, we recommend booking 4-8 weeks out β€” but don't stress if you're running behind, because rush bookings and even week-of requests are typically available! Just keep in mind that if your first choice is already taken, we may need to roll with a backup preference to get you fed. We'd love to help with your event, so reach out and let's lock in your date!

Can I check availability before I know every detail?

Totally understand wanting to lock in your date early, but it's tough for us to confirm availability until we know your location and time. Without those details set, checking availability is a bit like throwing darts at a wall! Once you've got a location and time in mind, we'd love to help with your event and get you a real answer.

What are your payment terms?

Payment terms are dictated by your catering agreement. They are also found in the booking terms in the footer of our website.

What information do you need to give me a quote?

To get you a quote, we just need a few details: your event date, time, address, and guest count. Send those our way and we'll get you sorted!

Pricing & terms

What happens to my price if the event changes?

We can absolutely revise your event details β€” but confirmed guest counts can't be reduced. Any approved changes that affect your price will show up in a revised quote, so you're always in the know.

What affects the price of my event?

Great question! A few key things shape your pricing: your date, service time, guest count, and event address. We would love to help with your event β€” reach out and we'll walk you through it!

Is gratuity included or expected?

Gratuity is not included or added automatically. Tipping is optional, and any cash or card tip goes directly to the crew serving your event.

Are there any fees I should know about up front?

Your written quote shows all charges before you book, including any travel, taxes, or booking fees. We do not add fees after you accept the quote unless your event changes and you approve a revised price.

Is there a minimum spend?

Most events have a minimum based on the date, location, guest count, and service time. We will confirm your minimum in writing before you book.

Do you offer fixed per-person pricing?

Sometimes. Pricing may be per person, package-based, or subject to a minimum depending on the event. Your quote will clearly show how your price is structured.

What is included in the quote you send me?

Every quote covers food service for your quoted guest count, plus all the plates, utensils, and serving supplies that come with your selected service β€” everything you need to get hot, melty cheesesteaks into hungry hands!

How is your pricing structured?

Every event is quoted individually based on the menu, guest count, service time, and location. Your accepted quote is your price unless you approve a later revision.

Are there travel fees, and how far will you travel?

Travel fees may apply based on where our serving team is coming from. If there is a travel charge, it will be listed on your quote before you book. Service range varies by date and location.

How do you work out travel costs?

Travel costs come down to where our serving truck is rolling in from and the distance to your event. We operate out of many major metro areas and can travel beyond them when available β€” we'd love to help figure out the details for your event!

Food

Can the menu be adjusted for our event?

Absolutely β€” we can adjust the menu to fit your event! Our standard menus are our crowd favorites, built to be approachable and satisfy a hungry crowd. But if you already know exactly what you want, just let us know and we'll put together a quote for that instead. We'd love to help make your event menu exactly right!

How is your food actually cooked?

Great question! Our food is cooked between the commissary and our truck, prepared in small batches β€” just like we'd make for our own family. Hot, fresh, and made with care every step of the way!

Do you have kid-friendly options?

We can absolutely bring kid-friendly options to your event! We just need to know what you're thinking ahead of time. Since kids can be picky, it's important to tell us what your kids like so we can make sure we can make it happen. Every kid is different, and we're happy to make them happy!

What do you refuse to compromise on?

Quality and responsiveness β€” non-negotiable, always. Communication is the key that gives you the reassurance we know what you want and how to pull it off. And the food? That's what makes your event go smooth.

What do guests notice most about your food?

Guests taste it right away β€” passion and love in every bite. Our teams don't cook because they "can." They cook because they want to.

What sides and drinks come with it?

Every menu comes with its own set of options, and we're happy to make changes where needed! As for drinks, we roll with an assortment of soda and water, which can vary by region.

What do you serve?

We roll out to parties everywhere! Most of our events are private, but we're right at home working public events too β€” every party comes with a required sales minimum based on our inputs. We would love to help with your event!

Dietary

How do you handle food allergies?

We are very sensitive to guest needs. We put the upmost care into accommodating, but we only know the dietary restrictions you tell us up front. If there are severe allergies or needs please let our team know up front.

Do you offer gluten-friendly options?

We absolutely do! We'd love to help make your event deliciously worry-free.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We can accommodate for almost any situation as long as we know up front. Surprises on site don't usually go well for our team or your guests.

Do you offer a vegetarian option?

Yes β€” every menu we serve includes a vegetarian option! You get to build your own menu, but we highly recommend keeping at least one vegetarian option on there, since it's a very common dietary need among guests.

Service & the day

How early do you arrive before service starts?

Our teams roll in 30-60 minutes before service kicks off. We give ourselves that window because you never know how traffic will be β€” we'd love to help make sure your event stays on schedule and hot cheesesteaks hit the griddle right on time!

How do you communicate with hosts before and during the event?

We keep the communication rolling from start to finish! 24-48 hours before your party, we email you the day-of contact for the truck team so you're all set. We also send an automated email before the event to confirm there are no changes to your party, so we can be ready to roll. Then, when our team arrives on-site, we call the host to let you know we're there and get shown where to park.

How long does service take for a larger event?

Typically, we can serve 60-80 guests per hour, hot and melty the whole way through! The exact pace depends on how streamlined your menu is and what your vision for the event looks like. For larger events, we recommend bringing in some of our other partner trucks to help speed up service and keep those hungry guests fed fast. We'd love to help plan it out with you!

What happens to leftover food?

We'll take care of any leftover food ourselves, or you're welcome to keep it β€” your call! Just let us know 15 minutes prior to service if you'd like to take the leftovers home, so we can bundle everything up and stay on track for our next catering. We'd love to help make sure it works smoothly for your event!

How does the serving line actually move?

Every party moves a little differently! The slow part usually comes down to communication at the windows β€” walking guests through the menu takes time. Our goal is always to get that hot, melty food out fast, but we can only move as fast as your guests order. Good news: if your guests know the menu ahead of time, things can move a whole lot faster!

What do you do when the line gets long?

When the line gets long, we don't slow down β€” we speed up. We shift into batch cooking mode so we can get 2-3 orders going at once and cook to the back of the line, meaning we've got a few orders of each option ready at all times so the second it's ordered, it can go out the window. Even with a long line, nothing goes stale or sits around β€” it all goes out within a minute or two, and we're cooking the whole time to replace backstock and keep that line moving.

What does setup look like on event day?

We typically roll in 30-60 minutes before service, depending on traffic. Most of our prep is already done before we arrive, so once we're on-site, we open the window right on time and start serving up hot, melty cheesesteaks. Once the time frame is reached β€” or every guest has been fed β€” we quietly pack up the truck and head out.

Do you provide plates, napkins, and utensils?

We've got all the cutlery and disposables covered so you can dig into your meal without a worry. Just note, we don't provide extras for items we aren't bringing.

What happens at the end of service?

At the end of service, we say a big thank-you to the host, pack up the truck, and hit the road!

Site & logistics

What if my venue has tight or unusual access?

No venue is too tricky for us β€” we'll just get creative with where we park and set up service! Before the big day, we'll give you the exact truck dimensions so you can confirm everything fits. As a good rule of thumb, plan on having 40ft x 10ft x 12ft tall of space available, with upwards of 50 ft needed to maneuver a trailer in. Worst case, we simply park where nothing gets damaged and set up a little farther away β€” either way, everyone gets fed!

What makes a site difficult to serve?

Sites get tricky when venues get involved and start dictating how food service should run. They might have the space, but they don't have the kitchen or food service chops that we bring to the table. We love what we do, and our goal is always to make it a success for everyone involved!

What do you need from us on the day?

On the day, all we need from you is a clear, level space for us to park, plus someone available by phone as we arrive so we can find our way to the right spot. That's it β€” we'll take care of the rest!

Can you serve indoors, or do you need to be outside?

We can absolutely bring the food inside! Just know that most of the time, fire code requires ventilation to be inside or cooking from electric. Don't worry β€” it's something we can figure out if needed!

Who handles permits and venue approvals?

Those are handled by the host. We can provide licensing and proof of insurance, but we do not pull event permits or pay venue costs on behalf of a host.

Do you need power or water hookups?

We're fully self-sufficient once we park β€” no power or water hookups needed!

How much space do you need to set up?

For trucks, we usually need 40ftx10ft, and for trailers, 50ftx10ft β€” but once we're parked, the truck can detach from the trailer to shrink its footprint. We'd love to help you plan the perfect setup for your event!

Can you serve at a school, park, venue, or private property?

Absolutely! We're a mobile operation, so we roll right up and set up wherever you need us β€” school, park, venue, or private property, we'll bring the hot, melty cheesesteak action straight to you!

Events

What kinds of events do you cater?

We cater events of all sizes and styles β€” big or small, casual or dressed-up, if you need great food, we would love to help!

What kind of event are you the best fit for?

We're a great fit for any event with great food. We don't get too stuck on the event type β€” what we care about is the food and the experience we bring to your hosts and guests.

What's the most memorable event you've done?

We've fired up the griddle for it all β€” weddings, country super-stars, professional athletes β€” but nothing hits quite like the first time you see your dream come to life and drive that truck out for its very first job. Those early experiences are memories we'll never forget.

Is there a minimum guest count?

No minimum guest count here β€” we just work with a minimum spend, so you're covered no matter the size of your crowd. We'd love to help with your event!

What size events can you handle?

We can handle events of all sizes! For smaller parties, we roll up with one truck, and for larger parties, we've brought as many as 17 trucks to get the job done. It all depends on your vision β€” we'd love to help make your event happen!

The unexpected

What if you run out of food?

We build your order to match the guest count you give us up front, loaded with hot, melty cheesesteaks ready to go. We don't pack extra beyond that number, so an accurate guest count is key to making sure we never run out on you. As a mobile kitchen, we're working without big fridges and freezers, so we can't stash backup product in case the guest count runs higher than planned. Good news either way, though: if the guest count comes in lower than expected, all the leftovers are yours to keep!

What do hosts most often forget to ask?

Dietary restrictions! Accommodating your guests isn't hard if we know up front β€” but once the kitchen introduces gluten and half your guests are GF, it's tough to decontaminate/eliminate the gluten with 100% certainty. Ask us early so we can plan it right!

What happens if you're delayed getting to the venue?

We're mobile, so this can happen should there be a bad accident blocking traffic. It's rare, but if it does happen, we're happy to stay late to make sure everyone gets fed. Accidents aren't our fault or your fault, but we want to make sure you get everything you paid for.

What happens if more guests show up than we told you?

There is a chance we run out of food. Its good practice to overestimate by 10-15% to make sure everyone gets fed.

What's your plan if the weather turns bad?

We show up rain, snow, wind, or shine. We can always pack things in to-go containers.

Proof & trust

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. All our teams hold a health license and insurance.

What makes you different from other caterers?

We'd love to tell you it's all about better food - but honestly, our other food truck friends out there serve great food too, we just happen to believe ours is superior. What really sets us apart is our communication. We answer the phone at all times, respond to emails at all hours, and text you back. No channel goes left unresponded to.

Can you provide insurance or vendor documentation?

We can provide that when requested. Please note on COI's our agents can take up to 7 days. We are unable to change our policies for events.

How long have you been doing this?

We fired up our first truck back in 2016 and have been slowly adapting and growing ever since. We would love to help with your event!

Why should we book you?

Because we're the owner-operators β€” we know this truck service inside and out, top to bottom. We're not just showing up to cater; we're stepping in as your co-hosts. That means we'll always tell you straight what our trucks can and can't do, no sugar-coating, no misleading you on the limitations. You'll know exactly what you're getting, and you can trust it's the truth.

Where you serve

Why do you need the exact event address?

We can't put together a quote without knowing exactly where we're headed! Mileage is one of our biggest cost drivers, so the exact event address makes all the difference in getting you accurate pricing.

Can you serve nearby towns outside the main city?

Absolutely β€” we're a mobile setup, so we can roll wherever you are! We'd love to help with your event!

Where do you serve?

We serve private parties all over! Reach out today β€” we've got a team ready and capable of serving you. We would love to help with your event!
